Abstract
This study aims to measure the impact of the tourism add value on the economic growth outside hydrocarbon sector in Algeria during the period 1995-2018, through an econometric study of annual data using the fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) method. The study found a long-term equilibrium relationship between the two variables of the study, while the effect of the value added of the tourism sector was insignificant on economic growth outside the hydrocarbon sector in the long term. The study recommended the necessity of encouraging the local and foreign private sector to invest in the tourism sector by giving it incentives privileges.
