The impact of knowledge management on the development of human resources within the economic institution A case study of the Directorate of Gas and Electricity Distribution for the state of El-Bayadh

Abstract
The aim of this study was to address the problem of the impact of knowledge management on the development of human resources within an economic institution. To answer this problem, a descriptive approach was adopted. The study covered a aspect that includes various theoretical literature on the subject. After theoretically addressing the problem, an attempt was made to answer it empirically by adopting a case study method. The study focused on a field study of one of the economic sectors within the El Bayadh province, namely the Directorate of Gas and Electricity Distribution. A questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) v.22 was utilized for data analysis. The questionnaire was distributed to 90 employees across various managerial levels in the institution, with only 57 responses deemed valid for the study. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant impact of knowledge management dimensions on the development of human resources within the Directorate of Gas and Electricity Distribution in El Bayadh at a significance level of 0.05, as inferred from the results of the simple linear regression test.
