University-Industry Linkages an Analysis from the Research Community's Perspective at Biskra University

Abstract

This paper aims at highlighting the university-university linkages conceptualized under the Triple Helix Model-THM at the University of Biskra in Algeria based on a survey analysis from the point of view of research community during the period of (June-November 2019). We have received about 138 answers from a sample of 406 elements of all university departments where the majority of responses confirm that there is no official linkages with the industry but the community of research want to create new ones. The paper concludes with recommendations for academics and practitioners and provides several directions for future research.
